The Handcrafted Piano by Handcrafted Audio is a virtual library for Kontakt that combines the delicate sound of a felt piano with an analog synthesis engine based on the instrument’s own samples. Recorded with legendary microphones and processed through classic analog gear, such as the Cadac console, the instrument offers a rich, cinematic, and deeply expressive sound experience, ideal for soundtracks, ambient music, and intimate productions.

Each key was captured with over 100 velocity layers, ensuring realistic and fluid dynamic response. The adjustable felt control in five levels allows shaping the piano’s tone, while the three analog-processed microphone positions offer different spatial perspectives. External reverbs Lexicon 960 and Quantec Yard Stick add depth and dimension to the sound, resulting in an organic and immersive sonority.

The Handcrafted Piano includes a synthesis engine that transforms the piano samples into pads, leads, plucks, and basses, expanding creative possibilities.
