Heavyocity – FORZO Modern Brass Torrent: Overview
FORZO Modern Brass was developed by Heavyocity in partnership with award‑winning composer Jason Graves and Hollywood sound engineer Satoshi Noguchi. Recorded at the iconic Skywalker Sound studio, the goal was to create a new standard for orchestral brass libraries. The result is a collection that combines strength, depth, and versatility, offering composers a sonic palette that goes far beyond traditional libraries.
The ensemble includes 12 horns, 4 trumpets, 8 trombones (tenor, bass, and contrabass), and 2 tubas, totaling 25 GB of content. This massive formation ensures cinematic impact and unparalleled realism. In addition to traditional articulations, FORZO brings creative techniques such as cluster bends and random flutters, adding unique and modern textures. The library is organized into three main engines: Traditional Brass, with over 100 articulations; Hybrid Brass, which blends brass with sound design; and Brass Loops Designer, with more than 400 tempo‑synced loops.

The Full Ensemble NKI allows all 26 players to be performed simultaneously, creating an impressive wall of sound. Integration with Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) ensures compatibility with Komplete Kontrol and Maschine keyboards, facilitating live performances and studio production.
